Remarkably, this is my 500th post on Livejournal! I never expected it to reach this total or to even be writing in this thing, a year, never mind 5 years after it was founded on a drunken night back in 2004!

A couple of irritating things - ALL things computer code related is the first! I've tried the LJ cut things and it wasn't working.
